How Gunite Pools are installed

The site is excavated to the size, surface is prepared to start pool construction. Next step is Bending of the steel by following the contours of the pool, steel shell is placed which forms the base of the entire pool. Subsequently pre-plumbing / electrical conduiting of Pool are done to get it ready for concreting. The structure is built with concrete using two methodologies, it is either through
- Concrete formworks
- Shotcreting
Swimming Pool construction using a “formworks method” the walls and the floor base are made as two parts while in “shotcrete procedure”, the structure is constructed in one piece without any gap between the wall and the floor by sprayed concrete or mortar conveyed through a hose and pneumatically projected at high velocity onto a surface, as a construction technique. It typically takes 2 to 4 months to build a Concrete or Gunite Swimming Pool depending on the size of the pool.
