Is there any age limit for entering the swimming pool

There is no age limit for entering the swimming pool. This is a question that comes up often. The general rule of thumb is that children are not allowed to enter the pool without an adult, but this varies depending on where you live. In some areas, children are not allowed in the water at all until they turn six years old.

Children, less than eight years of age may not be permitted alone in some swimming pools of amusement parks, hotels, apartments, schools, or other similar institutions. There’s no recommended minimum age for swimming, many young children can swim before they even walk. Children ages six months to three years can develop their swim skills with the proper teaching.
